Architectural History Report of Bletchley Park

Bletchley Park Research - Research NotesIn 2003 English Heritage conducted a thorough investigation of the architectural history of Bletchley Park. The result was a vast report that charts Bletchley Park’s history through its buildings.

I would go as far as saying this report from 2003 is a bit of history in itself since it records a site that has now undergone changes that have transformed the site.

It’s always insightful, thorough and a brilliant piece of investigation. It must have been an enormous and fascinating undertaking for the researchers.

In 2003 Kathryn Morrison, English Heritage produced an article called ‘A Maudlin and Monstrous Pile – The Mansion at Bletchley Park, Buckinghamshire’ covering the history of Bletchley Park Mansion.

Not all the sections have yet been added. I will be adding more of this vast and insightful report over time.
